I never had thought of all the ways you could use a video recorder in the classroom, but I am glad I came across your blog. I wish I had done some of these projects while I was in school, but I think I could definitely use a video recorder in my future classroom. Using a video recorder is a great way for students to work in groups to learn to work with others and improve their social skills, while also learning. On one of the slides you had students interviewing another on their favorite book, this seems like a more of a contemporary way of doing a book report. The students are not only having fun and doing small tasks, but many projects seem to include higher level thinking. With everything the students record they too could create a blog to save the memories while also using it to go back and analyze what they had recorded to do further work. Overall I think using video cameras at the Middle/High school level is great!
